I’m adding this to the list of reasons why the UK has much better plus size options. I received a news eblast from Dorothy Perkins advertising the launch of their new in-house collection. Much like Target, DP is getting into the game of creating their own capsule collection. The collection is ‘packed with this season’s strongest trends.’ It ‘features exclusive high fashion pieces made from luxurious fabrics.’ The accompanying photo featured one of this season’s hottest items - the band leader jacket, recently seen on the runway at Balmain. I was instantly sold *click*
At the end of my last post, I mentioned that I liked my fashion ‘a bit more edgy, a little more structured, and a bit more rugged’. There are definitely pieces in this collection that fit my criteria! Take a look at some of the pieces and tell me what you think!
One of the good things about DP is that most of the stuff goes up to a size UK22. Also stuff at DP usually sells out pretty quickly so if you see anything you want, you should scoop it up! I hope there’s a few things leftover next week!
