“These photographs were taken at Michael Jackson’s public memorial on July 7, 2009 outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

It has been a month since the King of Pop left us, yet his legacy lives on. Just as his music rocks the airwaves today more than ever. His unforgettable energy, passion and contribution to the world of music, art and fashion will live on forever, even though we all know one of the greatest artists of all time has left us, along with his unsurpassed talent.

His music and style has marked our childhood and those of our parents, and for over three decades he has changed the world with his energy, dedication, kindness and generosity.

A page has been turned, yet legends live forever… Long live the King!

Love,

Harrison Gorman and the mykromag team”

When I first spotted these photos over at Style Bubble, I was a bit conflicted. Something is so inapporpriate but yet amazing about it. I love that the photos are capturing the celebratory atmosphere but scheduling a fashion shoot in the midst of it all? I don’t know. How do you guys feel?
