Gabi left a comment in my last post mentioning that I left out Selena in my mentionings of people who wear underwear as outerwear. I don’t know how I left her out because I LOVE her and she is like the queen of bustiers. She is basically the sum of my last few posts. BodyCon + 90s + Underwear As Outwear = Selena’s style. We looked back at some of her outfits and spotted things that are so huge right now such as the Margiela and Balmain shoulders and the sequin and mesh dress, which is very reminiscent of the Alexander Wang dress that I’m still lusting for. Her clothes were so gaudy and over-the-top, I loved it. Her music wasn’t bad either, check out the video for my favorite song from her, Dreaming of You.
Its so sad that she was killed before she could make a video for it.
